Jui Sheng (Michael) Weng is a young lawyer passionate about bridging diverse perspectives within the legal field.
Born in the vibrant city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Michael immigrated to Canada at the age of five, embracing a new culture while proudly honoring the values and stories of his heritage.
Michael’s academic journey reflects his deep curiosity and commitment to understanding the intersection of people, society, and law. He began by studying Human Biology and Psychology at the University of Toronto Scarborough, followed by a Master’s in Criminology and Sociolegal Studies at U of T’s St. George campus. Driven to explore how human behavior interacts with societal systems, he pursued and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan.
Outside of his studies, Michael is an avid single-player video game enthusiast, an activity he enjoys both for relaxation and for honing his strategic thinking.
Whether navigating complex legal scenarios or immersing himself in classics like The Witcher series, Michael’s curiosity and dedication remain unmistakable. As he completes his articles, he looks forward to contributing his interdisciplinary background and culturally rich perspective to the Canadian legal profession.
